FULLY BOOKED: The Dimension Stones of King William Street and Victoria Square.
A city walk observing geology, dimension stones and dimension stone use

Departing out the front of “Jamie’s Restaurant” corner of North Terrace and King William Street (south east)
Join Geological Survey of South Australia geologist Jo Hough for an interesting and informative afternoon walk down King William Street and around Victoria Square, which will illustrate the many and varied uses of South Australian, interstate and imported dimension stones. The walk will be of interest for the student geologist and to those who appreciate the heritage and architecture of the City of Adelaide.
The walk is free but you must request a ticket at the time of registration.

This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and enjoy finger food complemented by fine local wines. Afterwards gather with friends and enjoy some of Adelaide's best restaurants.
Tickets are included in full registration fee. Day registrants and guest tickets are an additional cost of $75 per person.

University Student GeoQuiz Night – Sponsored by EAGE

This is a free event for undergraduate and postgraduate students who have registered to attend the ASEG-PESA-AIG 2016 Conference. The event offers an excellent opportunity to network with peers from other universities. Drinks and canapés will be provided. The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers will host the EAGE GeoQuiz and have kindly donated a fantastic prize for the winning team of two to attend the 79th EAGE Conference & Exhibition in Paris, France, June 12-15, 2017. The prize includes airfares, accommodation and entry to the conference!
Tickets are free for students. Meet at the ASEG-PESA-AIG 2016 registration desk at 5.45 sharp to walk to Hotel Richmond .

The Dinner will be a highlight of the Conference and will be held at the recently renovated Adelaide Oval. Attendees will enjoy spectacular views of the oval, the historic old scoreboard, and the beautiful St Peter's Cathedral. The food, wine and entertainment promise to give you a great night of fun and relaxation - not to be missed.
Tickets are are an additional cost of $130 per person for all registrants.
